On the way home from the Getty Villa, Big Dude forced us to eat at this other burger joint. At this other joint with the same color scheme as my all-time favorite burger joint. I feel like such a traitor. I feel guilty. So guilty, that I’m not even going to name either establishment by name, for fear either of them might some way end up finding the proof of my traitorous behavior on this tiny blog of mine. Littlest Dude loved the peanuts.
And I must admit [whispering]: the bacon burger was really good. The fries, tho, can’t displace my affections for my favorite joint’s fries.

That's good to hear, because just last night I saw a Five Guys near my favorite park and wondered about it. We don't have In-and-Out, so no conflict of interests here!
Yes! Idaho potatoes got a shout out!! ;)
Nothing compares to the one you didn't mention. We don't have one near, but each trip down the 5 towards CA we make a stop. We have 5 guys here, went once, because we heard it was like in and out...NOT. Fun shots!
Five Guys is good but I feel bad for anyone that doesn't have a Cheeseburger Bobby's or Fuddrucker's nearby. So so tragic! If you're ever in the ATL...
I have never been to either place. I will vouch for Fuddrucker's, tho. Yum. And thank you very much, I'm suddenly craving a burger and fries.....
Funny, as a so cal girl, I feel the same so I always order something that I can't get at you know where so I don't feel like I'm cheating.
Five Guys is my husbands favorite...and we just happen to pass one on the way home from church.(o:
Confession: we have defected to the other side. We have actually now sworn our allegiance to them, and their fries--which are WAY BETTER than the other establishment's. (I can't even believe you think there is a comparison?!) The other night Scott and I went to get dinner at Chipotle and got out of our car to see a "coming soon: Five Guys" sign on the vacant building next door. We looked at each other and gave each other a high five and didn't even feel one ounce of guilt over the fact that "the other" establishment saw us from across the street.
