Sunset. Big Waves. Frisbee. Cloudy warmth.

All the Kellers together.  And now the College Kid has gone back to college.  It will be awhile before all these elements converge again.

Galaxy-ography: Summer 2015

Things to remember about this summer … lots of great books, many beautiful butterfly successes (at beginning of summer) followed by many butterfly tragedies (by the end of summer – tachinid flies & OE parasites – bleck), College Kid taking summer school classes at local JC, moderate temps and cloudy days all the way thru mid-August, puzzles, palm tree pods, art festivals, frisbee & beaches.  All in all, a pretty quiet summer.  College Kid has one more week at home, and Middle Dude begins dual enrollment (just two classes) at the local JC on Monday.  How is it remotely possible that school is imminently beginning again?!????

 

 

 

Beautiful Life … in San Clemente :: Orange County Family Lifestyle Photographer

This.  This is the reason why I’m that crazy photographer who will ONLY sell all-inclusive packages.  I cannot bear for a single image to be separated from its companion images.  They belong together.  And together they tell a beautiful story of your family.  I am not that photographer who creates a single gorgeous portrait that gets blown up big and hung over your proverbial fireplace (though we may end up with an image or two or three that fulfill this desire).  I am that photographer who wants to capture a series of images that show how you naturally move in and out of each other’s spaces, how you snuggle, how you communicate, how you laugh/scowl/pester & love-on each other.  I want the quiet moments.  And the crazy moments.  And all the in-between stuff.  I love that this dear family let me capture just that.  And together we created a lovely body of images that show how they look and love at this moment in time, while relaxing, lazing, exploring, playing and snacking their way through vacation time in San Clemente. 


 What’s so engrossing, you may ask?  Disney Channel.  ;-)  No cable at home; thus the importance of catching up for lost time on vacay. Sees-tahs. Don’t neglect to notice Ellie-the-baby-doll.  She’s kinda a big deal right now. That the sun and the clouds and the low tides and the glowy-ness and the warm gentle water all added to the already-beauty of this family … I still stand in awe.
