Living in the Moment: June edition
Part of Big Dude’s broken ankle rehab has included nightly walks. Dog Dude approves. While biking through the canyon earlier this week, Big Dude found a trail that actually allows dogs. The only bummer: we have to drive to get to the trail. Oh well. Small price to pay for a lovely trail that lets Dog Dude join us.It’s the hand. You know what that means? (besides that I’m silly enough to bring two cameras on a walk?)Time for the obligatory selfie…Click on thru to Angela's busy family for more Living in the Moment posts ...

The LORD upholds all who fall …
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and Your dominion endures through all generations.
The LORD is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does.
The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to You and You give them their food at the proper time.
You open Your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
The LORD is righteous in all His ways and faithful in all He does.
The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.
He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; He hears their cry and saves them.
The LORD watches over all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.
My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD.
Let every creature praise His Holy Name for ever and ever.
Psalm 145:13-21
Experimenting with Succulents
Awhile back I saw this neat article about propagating succulents. And here’s what my own experiment has looked like:
April 14
April 28 (you can see I added a few extra snippings)
May 8
May 17
Jun 28 (you can see I pulled out a bunch of the “fail-to-thrive” (aka d.e.a.d.) specimens. And I need to pull out several more. But six of my little experiments are doing pretty well.

Happy Chaos … Orange County Family Photography
Time flies. It really does. Remember these darling newborn twins? Believe it or not, they are now very busy 2yos and big siblings to their new baby sister. This Dad & Mom have their hands and days full – full with too-numerous-to-count diapers, many meals, crayons, crying, carseats, bubbles, love, drool, laughter, special blankets, boo-boos (luckily Dad knows how to fix those!), sticks and dirt and playing in the sunshine. Sweet Baby Sister clearly enjoys watching all the antics of Big Bro & Sis. Something tells me this family’s days begin early. And that everyone (Mom & Dad inclusive) is very tired by the end of day. Mom told me before the shoot to capture the happy chaos. And so we did! There’s a saying: the Days are Long, but the Years are Short. Happy chaos happens. And time flies.
