The dudes all appreciated the abundance of sticks. Big ones. Small ones. Straight ones. Curly ones. Good for building. Good for throwing.
Funny note: we pretty much had this whole gorgeous beach to ourselves each day, with the exception of the regular arrivals of a tour bus. A dozen or so people would take 10 steps onto the beach, hear a spiel about Gilligan’s Island being filmed here, have a 5 minute photo-op, and head back to the bus for the next tv/movie destination. Hilarious.

I just want to know why the professor kept trying to figure out ways to get out of there. Who would ever want to leave???
Wow. Wow. Wow. Would love the info on where you stayed and if it's available to rent. Hubby and I are planning a 15 year anniversary trip to Hawaii in a few years and would eventually like to take the kids when they are older. This looks amazing!!!
Wow is right...I think if i put my ear to the monitor I could hear the ocean!
Tracy P.-hahaha!
What amazing photos...and what fun! Paradise, indeed!
Would you mind sharing what lens(es) you used here? I want to get a wide angle, but for a year now can't decide.
Thank you for the continued inspiration,
