Don't drop your camera and/or lens on stone. NEVER EVER.
I'm still burying my head under my pillow at night and trying not to think about it. (sniff, sniff)
Use your strap. There's a reason it's there. The End.
I know. There's no end to the brilliance of my tips here at Short on Words.

Oh, no. Is it repairable? A friend of mine just got an iphone...and it slid out of the pocket in her purse to the garage floor. Not something cheap to replace!
oh my goodness... tell me it isnt so???
Ack! Another friend of mine just did the same thing! I'm starting to get the hint...
Soooooo sorry about your camera. :(
Kat -
Yikes for your friend! Tho her item is way cheaper to replace than mine :-O!!! I'm hoping mine is repairable. I'll know in a couple days - the "doc" should call me in a couple days with the prognostication (is that a word???)
Lisa - yup, it's so. :-(
Heidi - Yes! Take the hint ... learn from OUR mistakes, not your own!!!
Oh, no! Say it isn't so! That's a bad story...a nightmare. I refuse to believe it happened, so then it never happened, right?!!
oh my gosh how horrible! I dropped and ruined a lens in the sand once, but it was just the lens.
still mourning for you.
