Christmas Vacation in Laguna:: Orange County Family Photographer

‘Twas my privilege to meet this lovely family while they were vacationing in SoCal for Christmas.  I think #1 son was born for life at the beach – it was his personal, larger-than-life playground, and he was covered head to toe with sand within seconds of hitting the beach.  The cold (and it was unusually cold for Laguna!) did not faze him in the least; he shed his shirt and showed me his impressive arsenal of dance moves.  Darling Sister may still be young, but she’s spunky, delightful, and quick to smile – she’s not going to have any problem keeping up with Big Bro.  J&H, you guys are raising a beautiful family!  Enjoy your slideshow and preview …

Smiling right back at them! Your spectacular signature flare (AND flair!) as always, Susan. Dad is old school--he still thinks you are supposed to smile at the camera, which made for some super fun shots!

The BW triptych of the two of them embraced... if they don't frame that for their home they are CRAZY! It's gorgeous and speaks so much of love!
Thank you for continuing to share your inspiration!

Holy cow. That is one beautiful family. Those kids are the cutest little things. I really love brown haired babies. Sweetness! They do look like they could be California natives for sure. They just have that west coast look : )

So gorgeous!!
I know you took these with your "real" camera :) but I wondered about the pics that you do take with your phone...do you use a particular app, do you just take the pics and mess with them later...just curious, because they're so beautiful. (I think that has a lot to do with your talent and less to do with an app...but I'm hoping that I can take some good photos with my phone now and then, like you do. :) )

Christina - I think you're going to LOVE your S2.

Any of my phone pics that are square-shaped have been to Instagramland for a filter-edit. I don't use any other camera apps. Any phone pics that aren't square are SOOC (or SOOP, as the case may be).

Have fun with your new camera phone!
