True Beauty. Redux.

IMG_2473T

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shone forth.
Psalm 50:2

He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him,
nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him.
Isaiah 53:2

That is gorgeous. I see hands gently cupped together in the middle.

Your verses, Susan. The paradox. How interesting that our gospels contain no physical descriptions whatsoever of Jesus to tell us how that prophecy was fulfilled. How would things have been different if his contemporaries had had cameras? What would the people of his day considered beautiful?

And yet without the camera--left only to ponder what he said and did, the beauty of his person, indeed, his majesty, is inescapable. Lovely thoughts to ponder on a Sunday afternoon. Thank you!

You are a genius! This is amazing. I would love to have some of your plant shots in my house. Do you sell them somewhere?
