so you could have knocked me over with a feather when The Big Dude suggested that the boys could paint their pumpkins from the patch. Here's what we ended up with: a skeleton (the Littlest Dude's), a Death-Eater (Middle Dude's), Iron Man (Eldest Dude), and Cat Woman (as copied from the Lego.Com site by The Big Dude).
Tomorrow, I'll show you the piece d'resistance on the back of the Cat Woman pumpkin. Stay tuned. Same bat channel, same bat time. (hmmm, I'm probably dating myself a bit by quoting that...)

How cool. This would totally not happen at my house. Mostly because we don't have paint. Or paint brushes. Or right now, pumpkins :-) I love the Iron Man one. (Was that not a great movie?!)
Ooo how fun! I will have to keep those in mind for when we go to our pumpkin farm.
I have no idea what your bat reference is about. I'm way too young. ;)
Great idea!! Knives always make me nervous...
The boys (all four of em, lol) did a great job!
I love it! My kids used to paint a tiny pumpkin every year. I miss it.
Oooh, I love this idea-- and how fun that even dad got into the mix!
What great fun! I like painting instead of "carving". That looks so much easier!
They have talent dont they!? I like the iron man one too... and Kat... it was an excellent movie! *Ü*
RyLee keeps asking about pumpkins... guess I should break down and finally say yes, hu?
I love Halloween decorating! We painted some small pumpkins with our neighbors, and I was suprised that both Elora and Joshua managed to get most of the paint on their pumpkins! We usually carve one or two as well, but it is much messier.
