"Six Random Things About Me" Tag, three at a time... part 2

Number FOUR: I'm going to one-up Julie: she might choose the same restaurant food item each time ... but, if given the chance, I would choose the same RESTAURANT, AND same FOOD ITEM each and every time we go out. Here's my favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurant and my favorite fish tacos that I could probably eat every day.

Number FIVE: Meet my totally favorite coffee maker. It makes a PERFECT cup of coffee every single time. Funny background story: I didn't want this coffee maker. My husband did. I thought it was frivolous. We already had a fine Starbucks thermal coffee maker. Short story shorter: we have this coffee maker now. I LOVE it sooooo much. I can't stand to use our Starbucks machine now. Shown are my two favorite coffee flavors. Yummmmm.... My husband was sooo right. I was soooo wrong.

Number SIX: Six years ago, when we were first pondering moving from Northern CA to Southern CA to get away from my husband's nasty long work commute and super high home costs, we had three silly requirements for relocation: our new home must necessarily be in close proximity to an In N Out Burger, a Trader Joe's, and a Nordstrom. Our current home is close to all three of these. My love affair with Nordstrom is long over with. My new love became J. Jill. But then Talbot's bought my new love and that ended that affair. But, who needs new clothes, eh? I'd much rather spend the money (what money?!?!?) on camera equipment... :-) Anywho.... we ALL love In n Out Burger (unlike Baja Fish which is NOT well liked by two of my little dudes) and visit it regularly and SOON a new Trader Joe's will be opening about a mile from home! Yippee!

Oh, Susan! My husband LOVES In N Out Burger-- he eats there every time he travels to southern Cal for work and insists we must make a trip their together JUST so I can eat there. Probably would make for a *very* expensive meal, travel costs considered, but I promise, if we had that sort of disposable income, my hubby would do it :o)

Have a super Thursday!

I love your criteria for a house location!

I have never had a fish taco. I am not sure that I would find it appealing either. And I have never been to an in n out burger either. Is that just a Cali thing?

She forgot proximity to Costco...I keep reminding her that there is a Costco on Kauai...probably reminder her once a day.

yabbut, it's missing Trader Joe's, In-n-Out, and Baja Fish. Oh well, I'd be willing to overlook those absences.... but only for Kauai ;-)

I'm not sure I've ever seen you do a meme before!

You should never, ever, EVER admit you are wrong to your husband in writing. EVER!!

BTW, we have no in-and-out burger, no costco, and no traders joes nearby. We do have nordstroms but no close Barnes and Noble, which has me depressed.

See? You totally rocked this meme!! I'm glad I double dog dared you.

And In-N-Out... that's something I could probably eat for every meal. (you can keep the fish tacos though)

I miss In N Out from when we lived in SoCal. We were recently on vacation in Nevada, and the first thing we did when we got off the plane was eat an In N Out.

Oh, and I love Trader Joe's too. I even drive 15 miles to shop there. Sad.

I say there is nothing like a good cup of coffee!

We all miss In n Out Burger.

I miss Trader Joe's a little.

I miss Jamba Juice, Tomatina, Una Más, Macaroni Grill, Fontana's, Target, Ben & Jerry's, Cold Stone Creamery, Le Boulanger (strange), Pasta Pomodoro, and even Mervyn's, believe it or not.

I miss non-smoking restaurants (oh yeah - count your blessings!).

But I'm near the Alps and Lake Zurich and Lake Zug, and France and Germany and Italy and Austria and Liechstenstein...so I'm okay. :-)
