Psalm 127:3-5

Baby on the Way4

Behold, children are a gift of the LORD;
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one's youth.
How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them...

Hi there. I got your blog from iheartfaces, and I just had to leave a comment. Your images are beautiful. I have only been exploring with photography for about 9 months now. I finally got a little website up and running and my first two real "bookings". I am photography a friends birthday in February and as of today I was asked to shoot a wedding. Although I may back out of that one for I am not that confident just yet to do such a huge event..... I am not sure yet.

However, I noticed a lot of your "scripture quotes" i have on my blog.... and then I got a little giggle for I noticed you had the same camera and camera bag I have. My hubby got me the bag for my birthday this past december and I have also had my canon rebel since 06. What are your favorite lens you use and have you ever shot weddings??? I would have some questions for you if so.

Again, I admired your browsing your blog.

God Bless.

www.mistyrice.net is my other site from my blog.

Misty-
what a beautiful blog filled with beautiful photos you have! Sounds like we have a similar photography experience. My husband bought me my Rebel back in May '06 just before we travelled up to WA for vacation. I got my 5d in Jan '08. This last year was a really intense learning period for me.

I love all three of my lenses. The 24-105mm definitely sees the most action, since it's the most versatile. But I love love love the 85mm for face portraits and I couldn't do my floral macro work without the 100mm macro lens. So, I use and enjoy them all.

Weddings ... nope, haven't shot any. I enjoy taking candids at weddings (for family, friends) and then passing the pictures on to them. But, no. No weddings for hire for me. I don't think I see myself as qualified for that. And I'm not really equipped for weddings, either (would have to rent flash equipment, find/hire a 2nd shooter, etc.). Plus a wedding pretty much takes a whole day, usually a weekend, and I'm not thrilled with giving up that kind of time with my family.

God bless you, also :-)
