The Dude Combines Math & Mozart

A tactic to encourage mathematical brilliance or just a device to drown out fraternal distractions?

My favorite part is the gun sitting on the book! What more could a boy want/need?

Happy WW!

Such wonderful taste for such a young man! Or should I say young men...

Silly Lisa - that's not a cloth diaper with which to dust ... it's my littlest Dude's "map." It goes with the pirate bandana underneath it. Funny thing is, I was going to crop these photos pretty closely so that all you'd see would be the math & the cd, but then I thought the messy, cluttered, "unschool-like" atmosphere of the room told the more honest (and humorous!) story.

Great photos!

That is a scene that happens too often here. She will start listening to the Ipod because *insert either brother* is distracting her. Eventually, they are all sharing the tunes one way or another.

Well...they do say that classical music works on the mathematical part of the brain...But distractions are always appreciated. Katie hasn't been getting her school work done lately until almost 5 in the afternoon. Distraction is the name of her game!
