The flowery meadows meet Bryce Canyon National Park meet the Grand Canyon meet the ocean. All in one place.

About a 30 minute drive from home...

Grand Canyon?!? in SoCal?!?
Near the end of the trail that opens onto the beach, looking back from whence we came.

I can't wait to see the beach pictures! This trail was amazing. Once again, I'm impressed with the beauty around you and your ability to capture it on camera. And, I LOVE the artsy fence post picture. lol

What is your trick for getting such great blue skies?

Thank you!

Donna, I don't know what trick you're talking about (wink, wink), but I've *heard* about some people who might use their blue saturation slider or perhaps add a little bit of blue to their white balance and maybe a punch preset here and there. ;-)

Awesome shots! Your post title describes the scenery perfectly! What a great place to have nearby.
A little Bryce Canyon on the ocean all your own.

Lovely fence post ;-)

I like the way you framed the family on the trail with the overhanging branches. I've seen my dh do that as well and like how it works.

Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the beach.
