Obligatory portraits …
Other obligatory portrait …
Heading down Steam Vent Trail … which was cool. But. Nowhere near as cool as all the steam and sulphur and funky water holes at Yellowstone…
Don’t fall in, Middle Dude! It’s stinky and HOT down there!
Summoning the steam. Good job, Dude!!
Falling and Titanic (I think?) antics …
Selfie!!
Pele’s Breath, giving a whole new dimension to steam facials…
I guess this little birdy wanted to travel with us. We are pretty good company…
Still with us.
My in-laws are pretty dang cute.
Volcanic Lava Tube …
Yet another obligatory portrait.

I have pretty high expectations for national parks. I expect that they will blow my mind and be astoundingly stunningly beauteous. This wasn’t that. Or Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Yosemite …
