Beautiful Life at Home :: Orange County Family Lifestyle Photographer
I met Rhonda online years ago through a mutual friend’s blog and then was delighted to attend together a photography conference (dare I say?: we were each other’s favorite part of the conference!) I was delighted when Rhonda asked me to photograph her family. I was even more delighted when she agreed we would do a home session. My. Very. Favorite. Kind. of. Session. At home, you can truly see people in their natural environment. You can see Dad whipping up gourmet grilled cheese while Mom dispenses locally produced Orangesicle and Rootbeer Rosa Bros. milk (I had rootbeer milk … so yum!!). You can see big brother snuggling with dogs on the couch and see darling daughter sing and dance her way through every. single. moment. You can see middle son do The Most AMAZING backflips. You can see real life. And it’s a beautiful thing. 5 words: What does the fox say?
And, of course, a slideshow. The song (A Bushel & a Peck) is a song Mom & Dad sing regularly to the kiddos.
Oh my goodness. I could not possibly love the realness of this more! Beautiful REAL life. What a super fun family. But seriously, underneath the trampoline with a fisheye???This is why you are the best!
What a beautiful family! I LOVE little sister. How cool are the boys? The trampoline air split is ridiculously awesome. I am with you 100% when you say real life family sessions are the best! This was lovely.
Wow, the family in front of the garage with that gorgeous sun flare! Be still my little heart. Amazing. (I totally over shoot, too! Sometimes, you just can't help it <3 ) Here from I <3 faces!
A love for home sessions AND a passion for making photobooks, my goodness I wished we lived on the same end of California as I believe we could talk for hours! Such a beautiful family share today, hard to choose a favorite but the energy on the trampoline and the love of the parents captured in the field are simply perfect.
I couldn't believe it when I was scrolling through the I Heart Faces blog and the Kane family popped up! Bruce was my youth pastor back when I was a teenager. I went to their wedding, and Bruce officiated my Dad's memorial 12 years ago. What a small world! I love this family :) What a beautiful session, you did such a great job capturing them! I love the fun trampoline shots and the photos in the field!
