I think photography can make an excellent workout. Lugging around a heavy camera, squatting over and over again, sometimes even running to make sure you capture that perfect shot. Totally counts, in my opinion. :-)

Oh my gosh, me too! If I only shot like this everyday, I'd be in GREAT shape!

LOVE the view, where you at?

Hey Rose - I just put 2 & 2 together (went back & saw the Crystal Cove tag on your photo) and figured out we probably live not far from each other. this pic is in the canyon that ends in Laguna ...

It's a great way to get in shape, though. Lift and burn...Now, when can we see the shot?

Truly. I never realized how much of that crazy contortionist stuff I did while shooting until I hurt my knee. Not being able to bend your knee makes for some pretty bland photos. ;)

that's awesome. love that you were caught in action. it's amazing how flexible you need to be as a photographer. the resulting photos were SO worth it!

Love! And you have sunshine, so I'm a wee bit jealous, too :-)

Love it. I so often forget to NOT wear skirts and loose fitting tops while shooting and, oops!, realize later I must have been flashing everyone around me.

Yes, getting that perfect angle does take some work sometimes! And my legs feel it too! Awesome shot! And I love the other post that had more from the day.:) I'm looking forward to passing my rebel to my son when he's old enough. I'm also looking forward to whatever camera I'll be shooting with when that day comes.:D

haha... no doubt. but it's so worth it, no? especially if you can get photos as lovely as the ones you take!

so if that's you in the shot taking pictures, who took this picture?? it's beautiful!

Seriously Susan! I was at the skating rink in about 12ยบ yesterday squatting to get the texture of the ice, and wondering how the heck I was gonna get up since I was literally frozen in position.

I seriously laughed out loud at this pic! I remember the first time I took my kids out for a good period of time for a photo shoot. The next morning I woke up and couldn't IMAGINE what had happened to my legs! I told my husband "it feels like I just worked out!" (and then we both died laughing at the thought)... Finally figured out it was the photo shoot - LOL! Soooo funny! I'm always down on the ground too.

Your blog is absolutely LOVELY. What a talented photographer you are! This link up has been wonderful; meeting new friends! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
