I think my favorite is the 2nd one. That being said, I also love the first uncropped shot because the tips of the feathers are so vibrant and graceful looking and WOW! Cropping them out kind of loses something - unless your main focus is that beautiful eye.

I need a trip to the zoo SOON!!!

Ah, that's interesting! I was thinking #2 as well. The joys of high resolution!

I go back to my standard art teacher answer, like the differences between watercolor and oil paintings, both are beautiful and good.

i like the third one. i like how he is staring at the camera wondering what your next move is going to be =)

I have that problem all the time. I cant decide which one is best either!

I see what you mean - tough decision (maybe a collage is in order :)). I think I like the drama of the 4th one as my favorite. All are just beautiful!

My favorite is the third one down because of the composition and the clarity on the eye.

I do have the exact same problem when it come to cropping and picking the best to use. Sometimes I have to walk away from the pics for a week or so, then when I come back I so see it differently! :)

I'd say #2...but I'm partial to vertical crops and negative space. These have been fun posts...It's interesting to read what others have to say.

its the last one. which is probably why you put it last because u subconsciously knew. its like "almost almost almost BAM!"
