Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me?
Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.
Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of Thy waterspouts:
all Thy waves and Thy billows are gone over me.
The LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
and in the night his song shall be with me ...
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me?
Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
Psalm 42: 5,7,8,11
We may have strong encouragement,
we who have fled for refuge in laying hold of the hope set before us.
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul,
a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil,
where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us...
Hebrews 6:18-19
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust..."
He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge;
His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
Psalm 91: 1,2,4
