It Finally Happened …

_MG_6574

The reading bug captured Littlest Dude.  It has meant numerous trips to the library.  We’ll go back today, too.  It’s a good “problem” to have.  ;-)

reading 101

His #1 favorite?:  anything by Arnold Lobel.  Also, anything by Dr. Seuss, Syd Hoff, or Cythia Rylant.  And Mitchell is Moving by Marjorie Weinman Sharmat.

LOVE these images. What great memories you have captured! My son didn't get the reading bug until he turned 7 but I just love to glance over and see him reading a book. Priceless!

I love the reading bug...it's super cute when kids get big by it! Your son has good taste, those are all classic, great authors! Has he heard of a new series (I'm not sure of the exat title, but something like this) called "You wouldn't want to be..." and they have ones like "You wouldn't want to be a Mummy." And others about being on the Mayflower, or being part of the Boston Tea Party. I have heard boys are going goo-goo over them and I'm sure your boys would love them!
Enjoy the library!
