My official fix-it is over at iHeartFaces, but here are a few more quickie fixes that I played with this morning after receiving TRA’s new presets. As a contributor to iHeartFaces, I was given these textures by Totally Rad Actions. All my writing now and hereafter in regards to TRA Presets is my honest opinion. Please view my disclosure policy for more information. (sorry to muck up my blog space with legal mumbo jumbo. Rules is rules.) Alrighty, on to the fix-it. Here’s the SOOC image: First caveat: Doug Boutwell designed these presets to work optimally with RAW images. But. I must say, in my humble jpg-shooting-opinion, these presets also play nicely with jpgs. The above image is a smallish jpg. Keeping that in mind, here are four preset combos I used to edit this image. To see which presets I used, just scroll over the image.
On two of the images, I also used sloppy border. Can I just say?: what a brilliant, simple idea for a quickie border!!! I used no other editing in addition to just clicking on the listed TRA presets. And while the last three edits look remarkably similar, when they’re big, the subtle differences show.
In other news [grin], be sure to check out my post yesterday and nominate someone for a FREE PHOTO SESSION + album from yours truly!

Fun! I am so tempted to get TRA's new presets. I've only ever bought presets once before, and usually don't end up using them all, so it's hard to make me part with actual money for presets. But for this set, I'm tempted! Thanks for sharing!
How fun that you got the new presets! They are on my wishlist :) It seems like all the presets that I love were created for RAW photos -- I shot in JPEG until Jessica Paige's presets came out and then started shooting in RAW -- what a difference!!
Lightroom presets are the best, aren't they? I love these edits.
bit camaro medium is my favorite
I love them. And I love that you said legal mumbo jumbo. You are so great.
