Total unrelated miscellany ...

Gosh, when one doesn't blog for a week, one has time for other stuff ... ;-)

Stuff like my annual family album...

mypublisher roadtrip snipit

... where I condense 1300+ vacation pictures that I like into a mere 55 pictures to represent our summer roadtrip. Fun times.

Know what else is fun? Yearbook pictures. I got a good head start on Middle Dude's yearbook this last week.

The skies darkened and it rained for about two minutes and I fully got into the Fall mood of things. (and YAY!! Trader Joe's finally opened in our neighborhood!!!)

And then the sun came back out and we had a week of temperatures in the 90s. So much for my Fall feelings...

And, in other news ... Big Dude's mid-life crisis is apparently over. He sold the Mini-Cooper :-( (to a nice woman who's planning to use it to drive her three dogs around ... her Great Dane, Pit-mix, and Lab-mix ... in a MINI!!) and we got this different car (Keller inside joke - we call it "different" because it's not new, just new to us).

And I even got some house cleaning done. But I'm over that now. Back to blogging. Let the dust accumulation resume... ;-)

"Let the dust accumulation resume."

a woman after my own heart! Far far too many interesting things to do...gamelands with the dogs, riding my mare, photo taking while the season is still all in it's glory (NW Penna has the BEST leaves)....yeah, dust (makes frowny face), later dust, later.

Oh Susan, I have GOT to get going on the family yearbook. Yeah, because I haven't finished 2008 yet. It's because of those very vacation pictures you are talking about. This year I wised up and did a vacation book, so I wouldn't have to try to boil them down for the yearbook. But I am still behind.

Glad you're over the cleaning. Don't make us look bad. ;-)

Well, I missed you, loved your comeback. Oh how I wished we had more than that few days of cooler weather. Love every bit of that TJ stuff.

Love your family album! You are so good with preserving memories. I need to do that, but haven't found the patience to do so.

The yearbook photos look fabulous, as far as I can tell from the small photos. =D It's wise you started early. It will be overwhelming if you didn't.

A red KIA? Awesome! =)

I'm so glad you're back!

I loved this so much! Great photos, accompanied by great words. Loved it! I'll be in CA tonight and have a special budget for things I will buy at Trader Joe's and stuff I will eat at In 'N Out. Doesn't take much to make me happy!

glad I'm not the only one letting dust accumulate! I have a hard enough time reducing my 200 or so shots each time we go out, let alone 150o...good luck!

I am soooo proud of you for working on your family album. I think I've given up hope at ever completing one...

I'm over house cleaning, and I haven't even started. :)

So glad you are back. Your blog is one of my all-time favorites. (Love Sunday's photos and scripture!) So much so that I got a little worried for you when you went missing for so long. Please don't do it again! Destiny D.

I remember when you got burned out with the yearbook last year. Was that you? It looks like a stressful job for sure. Is your new car orange? Kaishon LOVES orange. If you have an orange car he will want to move in with you AND be forced to play at the TERRIBLE playground. Don't worry. I will tell him he has to take pictures for at least 3o minutes a day : )
