On our drive back, we got to stop in OR and experience
Heidi's hospitality. I know I should have pulled my camera out for more of the visit than I did, but I was too busy enjoying the beauty of her huge yard (Dog Dude was appreciative, too!), looking at her newest photos hanging in the beginning of her newest project, admiring her latest mantle decor, spying her "lovely" placard and seeing how that theme so evidently portrays itself throughout her lovely home, finding one of Levi's books draped over the porch bannister, listening to Luke reading me scripture (he just turned 5. let me repeat that: he was reading me SCRIPTURE!! Heidi and Russ have some very smart boys on their hands), husking corn (grown in their yard), enjoying a very yummy taco salad dinner followed by a scrumptious blackberry (again, grown in their yard) cobbler. Yummm.... So, the camera didn't come out until Heidi and I were leaving behind ALL (yes, all EIGHT) the Dudes with the tractor...
Where were Heidi and I going?
We were off to join the other ladies of the Louvre (including Heidi's
mom and both sisters) for a delightful evening discussing the books of E.P. Roe.

Hee-hee-hee. :) Those face mask photos crack me up. I'm so glad your family came to visit us and that you were able to join book club for the evening!! Thanks for taking the time out of your drive home to spend time in our neck of the woods. :)
Giggling with you, Heidi -
and I think those masks conveniently mean that I don't have to ask anyone's permission before displaying her likeness on the great big blogosphere ;-)!
Many thank yous for a wonderful evening!
Love the mask photos!! It was so fun to have you at our book club. We'll have to have the other ladies take a look at your blog.
