Vegas, Baby!

But we didn't stop to walk around, because (shhhh!) last time we walked through Vegas 2/3rds of our Dudes were crying about not wanting to be there. Silly us. We thought pirate ships and pyramids, and volcanoes, and Caesar's world would all be fascinating to boys. We were soooo wrong.

ps. a first for me: I edited all these (so far) vacation pictures in THE MINIVAN on the laptop ... while we were on the road! So, y'know, if the color is kinda wonky, it's because I'm on an uncalibrated monitor working in a moving van with my sweatshirt hanging from the window to try to block the sunshine :-P.

Hey, that looks familiar. :) I think I enjoyed walking and enjoying the sights much more *without* the boys. Lots of cool things to see, and lots of things to avoid seeing....

Wow! Lots of pretty cool stuff to see. I would want to walk around. Sometimes a Dude doesn't know what he's missing.

The things you can do in your car these days! I was online when we were driving through Chicago, and I noticed my brother (in Africa) was on Skype so I called him. We were talking when I saw the Sears Tower, so I turned the computer around and showed it to him. :-)

Your color is beautiful, as always.

First photo advertises a contest with a $500 prize. None of the dudes were up for it?

Mike -
What a hoot! I had to pull up the pictures to see what you were referring to (I'd missed that little "gem" - so very Vegas, eh?!).

What I remember most about vegas is billboards and taxi adds much naughtier than that one!

I have never seen anything that you did that was 'wonky' Susan. Now I think you are even cooler for saying it : ) And I already thought you were cool. So cool that I am avoiding all of my work and looking at every.single.post. I have missed : )

You are cracking me up because I did the exact same thing on our vacation. It looked weird to anyone driving beside us, but it was the only thing I could think of. :) I wonder if a light-blocking portable laptop box is out there somewhere? Your pictures are so cool. I've never been to Vegas, but it definitely looks like a blast!
