Traveling with the Dog Dude...
has been a little bit challenging. Super high heat + dog = problem. It means he can never be left in the car for any amount of time. All our meals happened at fast food and/or grocery stores with an outdoor, shaded eating area. It was a relief to hit Northern Montana with its clouds and lower temperatures. Not to mention the pretty streams.

Our hats are off to you guys. Carol and I have toyed with the idea of taking sister Sky to Indiana. It has to be a real challenge in the heat, as you say, but adds a whole new fun perspective to your trip.
