Thou dost visit the earth, and cause it to overflow;
Thou dost greatly enrich it;
The stream of God is full of water;
Thou dost prepare their grain, for thus Thou dost prepare the earth.
Thou dost water its furrows abundantly;
Thou dost settle its ridges;
Thou dost soften it with showers;
Thou dost bless its growth.
Thou hast crowned the year with Thy bounty,
And Thy paths drip with fatness.
The pastures of the wilderness drip,
And the hills gird themselves with rejoicing.
The meadows are clothed with flocks,
And the valleys are covered with grain;
They shout for joy, yes, they sing.
Psalm 65: 9-13

For some reason, your photo is unavailable. That's what it says along with "Flickr." Weird.
Oh, Susan--that bottom photo of the plants silhouetted against the sky makes it look as though they truly are lifting their hands in worship. They do so glorify our great Creator God!
I love how you find just the right Scripture to go along with your beautiful photographs. Thank you.
A particularly poignant passage for those in CA right now, eh?
Did you take that first one with the fisheye? They're both beautiful! Thank you for sharing your gift with us.
Thank you, All.
Heidi - yes, the first one is from the fisheye. The second one, too! :-) It's the only lens that's been on my camera this whole weekend.
