And then the next morning, the computer changed functions and became the "classroom" so Eldest Dude wouldn't have to miss his online Classical Writing class. Gotta love technology!

And that pretty much brings us up to where we load into the car to get our first magnificent view of the canyon. ha!

Is that in Nevada? We used to take trips frm East to West across Nevada, to visit cousins in CA from UT. Our car broke down in the desert no less than six times, and we ALWAYS had to wait for another car to come and help us. On a nearly deserted road.
Don't you love family road trips!
We use the computer for videos too!
tearese - nope, not Nevada. (tho, not far). it's the Mojave desert just outside Barstow. and oh, I feel your pain. Being broken down in the desert - NOT FUN!
