So, the Big Dude asked the Eldest Dude...

to find a picture of how he wants his hair cut. Because the Big Dude insists it IS time for a haircut.

So the Eldest Dude asked me to take his picture.

Apparently he likes his hair just the way it is. And yes, I did suggest that perhaps using a comb might help his cause.

LOL Smart boy.

Jared feels the same way, and you can bet that after this, we certainly won't be asking for a pic of how he wants his hair to look. ;)

That is hilarious. Your husband was outsmarted for sure ;-)

And the comb. What a difference it makes.

(Oh, and yep...we have wireless here at the beach. I am in process of photoshopping everything...)

Shawn used to love his hair high and tight.... if it even touched his ears, he would be unhappy.... he then went through a stage where his hair was down to his sholders....

Did he get his hair cut???

Clever, so very clever! Do you think it will work?! I'm betting we see a new pic with Eldest Dude's new haircut.

Okay, THAT was a clever response from your son. Love it.

p.s. I really like his hair. My son grows his about the same length. Too cute (or handsome, excuse me).

Hehe Smart boy. The shaggy, longer haired look is IN in Austin but here in the north of Dallas suburbs...I think I see more buzz cuts.

For the record...It is the maternal half of the duo that has an issue with said hair. (spent too many years of my own life at the mercy of my parents interpretation of socially acceptable hair!)

Big Dude reminded me...when my hubby was younger, he had LONG, gorgeous hair. Well, just to his shoulders, but still, it was long and awesome...sort of a rebel look. He really treaures those days now and was so happy his parents let him grow it out because now he does not have much hair left at all!! Poor guy.

Aha. Y'all get to see a breakdown in communication, right here in my comments. :-}
*I* don't have a problem with the length, per se. I'd just like it to look like it has a style, not just random messy long hairs.

I think that "random messy long hairs" is the style that he is going for...hehehe
Sooner or later a girl (younger girl...not his mom) will say something about it and it will change all on its own.

Ooooh, wait til Eldest Dude reads THAT. And turns all shades of red and stammers out some smart aleck response denying the allegation.... You better duck when you arrive home!!

I have one of those too. His hair will be in his eyes but he will say, "I like it this way." Next week, he'll insist it is too long and want it cut.
