Would you believe this amazing water park is free? Well, "free" if you live in the community that pays the HOA fees that cover all the parks' development/maintenance/etc. Or, if you go with someone who lives in said community. (Thanks, Leslie, for living in such a swell community!).

Aha...I had to go back and look at the mystery photo...because I was thinking you weren't revealing *anything.* And then I see it. I thought the mystery photo looked like an old fresco.

How neat to have that as your neighborhood pool. It's very similar to our county pools...they are all like water parks - with those features, plus huge slides, and lazy rivers. And they are only $4 to get in...

Kat - Not my neighborhood (sniff sniff), but my friend's neighborhood. As a matter of fact, my bloggie friend who's familiar with The Real Housewives of the OC, the neighborhood isn't that same community "behind the gates", but it IS just down the road a few miles.

I wish we had one of these near us. But despite paying HOA fees for my immediate neighborhood AND for my city (don't get me started on the absurdity of HOA fees for a city!!! I really don't *get *why they don't just call it what it is: A TAX!!! and let me write it off on my taxes .... argh!), we don't even have a city pool at our disposal (they building one in the next couple years, BUT, in order to use it, we'll have to pay yet another $500 annual fee. makes me soooooo mad.)

Ok, off to think happy thoughts now that I'm all riled up. :-}

I, too, thought your mystery image looked like an old fresco on a cement wall. Boy, was I off....

I pay HOA dues monthly to have three pools in our neighborhood, and although they are beautiful, they are NOTHING like that. That looks like the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg which is a mammoth indoor waterpark. Wow. That is lots of fun!

BUh BYE ;)
