I love the rocks. Are most beaches like this? Do you get shells, too? There are no rocks here...white sandy beaches on the gulf coast - that are really difficult to walk on. On the Atlantic, the sand is packed much firmer...

I got out my theasaurus...and would you believe there are not a whole lot of suggestions for beautiful? My favorite: pulchritudinous ;-)

Kat-
Nope, most beaches down here are NOT like this. That's one of the reasons this beach was so intriguing to me.
Hmmm, pulchritudinous from pulcher. Too bad I don't need to take any SAT tests now. I could rock out those vocabulary exercises!!

5 years of Latin in High School did make me rock out on those SATs :-)...and yet I still struggle to find words other than beautiful and gorgeous to describe your amazing photos...

technical question...did you set your camera down or lay on your stomach for this shot?

Wow, I could hang out there all day, picking up rocks and dipping them in the water to see their colors...I may never come home again!

Aunt Tea-
If my memory serves correctly (and it may not!!), I was crouched low to the ground and I additionally took a couple of pictures (probably this one) holding the camera down low and trusting it to focus on its own.
