Nah, not really. Here's the real story. He's 11. So, y'know, he usually runs from my camera or scowls at it. That's why I love this picture :-). Instead of telling him to "say cheese", I told him to think of all the money he would make when he sold his book (he's writing a book ... and it's pretty good. I know, I'm biased. But really, it's quite the adventurous tale...). Anyway, it made him smile.
Actually, all the boys humored me a couple weeks back and let me take all sorts of pictures, so I could practice different ways of using available light to produce (hopefully) good skin tones. So the next few days will be filled with all sorts of Dude portraits.
