Well, that 365-vacation lasted a whole 6 days.
And then, this happened. And I couldn't resist. I turned that video on...
And then this happened (below). A little yardwork collateral damage. And the project "break" is officially over. And the dudes didn't even groan. Nay, they even egged me on.
A difference this year: I don't have that same urgency of everydayness. If I miss a day here and there, no biggie. No need for legalism. If I grab a video a day ... or not ... so be it. I'll still end up with a super cool compilation at the end of the year even if a whole bunch of days are missing. There. I'm done rationalizing - both the end of the "break" and the pursuit of perfect attendance in the beginning again. :-}

IS THAT A LIZARD TAIL WITH NO BODY ON IT?....ALSO, THE LIZARD WITH A HEAD, LOOKS LIKE HE HAS A HEAD ON THE OTHER END...I'M CONFUSED...SORRY. I'M CURIOUS, BUT JUST NOT THAT SCIENTIFIC...PS...I'M 68, AND REALLY ENJOY YOUR BEAUTIFUL PHOTOGRAPHS..THANK YOU.

MM - it's one lizard in two parts. some lizards drop their tails as a self-defense mechanism. the severed tail continues to wiggle to distract possible predator's attention. the lizard lives, tail [eventually] regenerates (albeit a shorter, stumpy version).
You teach me new things every time I come! I am glad you are going to keep doing the videos. Your creative spirit makes me smile!
