The Perseids were peaking, so we decided to hightail it out to Joshua Tree for an evening … And you can’t go to Joshua Tree without doing a little exploring and climbing … Big Dude brought his fun little GoPro along … I took about a gazillion pictures during our one hour of daylight and 3 hours of moon- and starlight. So I’m going to take one bite out of the elephant at a time and blog-post bit by bit. Next up, climbing & jumping shenanigans…

TOTALLY JEALOUS. I'm planning on doing a post about my joy in seeing the meteors, but my epic failure to get a picture (Well, I got one photo with one meteor, but it was so windy here the tripod was moving). I also wish I had a wide angle lens... I was also chased by a buck. Seriously. I bet you got some grand shots!
Oh my--I started smiling with dog dude and the feet, and then there were the shadows (with selfie), and then the Skeller classic wide angle shadow line up. How do you get them to do that? Looks like Kellers drawn in hieroglyphics on the rocks. :-) You guys take "rockin'" it to a whole new level!
Really Cool! Taking photos of stars is something that I have really wanted to do. Looks like you had a blast.
I love the family shadow pic. and I can't wait to see the night images you took. Looks like a fun evening :)
You live in the coolest place!!
The shadows are my favorite.
Is the GoPro camera what made you decide to go pro? That is the question of the day.
Someday, someday my family will go on an adventure with your family! I love the photo of your little shadows on the big rock. :)
