I Rented a Fun Lens Last Weekend.

Any guesses?  Each of the following Dog Dude portraits was done with the rental lens.

_MG_7165 _MG_7240

_MG_7167

_MG_7238

further info/hints: each of these was shot "wide open" and pretty close-up.

I haven't a clue. 85mm?
Dog Dude is so cute. (Just like every other member of your family)

It would be presumptuous of me to guess...but I sure love the one of Dog Dude's nose. And I will laugh hysterically if it's a pancake lens, because that just popped into my mind. I have no idea what they do. But I saw one the other day. ;-) I drool over shallow depth of field.

My guess would be an 85mm 1.2, or 1.4? Your dog is adorable!!

do i win it ? ;)

I already know, so that would be cheating ;) but I LOVE how shallow the 1.4 is... makes me want to change up. dang it.

Hi All -
I was really SUPER close, almost on top of Dog Dude, so that rules out the 50mm & 85mm. I was shooting wide open (1.4) and wide angle (24mm) with the Canon 24mm f/1.4. And I liked it!! :-)
