He's cute and quirky and sweet and imaginative. He keeps our household safe from the Char and never fails to restock our Honey-Apple-Pie supply. We love him oodles.
And, yes: He did pick out that party hat all by himself. And he loved it freely and unself-consciously ... right up until the moment his big brothers told him he looked like a clown. sigh.

I'm glad you were able to capture photos before his brothers got to him. :) Hard to believe my oldest will be 6 at the end of this month. Seriously...where does the time go?

Such a totally fun kid! This shows his "true colors" perfectly. He still has just a tiny bit of little kid left in him. :-)
