Speaking of hair... I've been growing mine out for two years now. And finally this summer, my "do" of choice has been a ponytail! After nearly 8 months without a haircut, I went in this week for a T.R.I.M. Told my stylist to leave enough for a short ponytail. Wanna guess the result?
Buh bye, Ponytail. Oh well. Back to square one. Does this mean the first half of my life with long hair will now become the last half of my life with short hair?!?

I think "trim" must mean something entirely different in hairstylist language. You got lucky, though. It looks cute!
Ah, the carefree life of summer. Your "do" looks good!
Oh my gosh!!! His twin lives at my house!
Today I told him I like his longer hair, but if he chooses to keep it that way, combing it will be on his getting ready list come fall. His sister chased him down with a spray bottle this morning. It was pretty funny. And the hair still looks just like middle dude.
I miss my ponytail days.
Ha. Does the little dude know Mom is showing his hairdo on display on the Internet? Maybe he doesn't care now--how funny.
And I LOVE short hair! I had long hair for a long time, but I always ended up putting it up, anyway.
Nice do! :)
hey I like it, friend.
Middle Dude is just so darned cute!
Don't tell him I said so. I doubt he wants to be called 'cute' by an old lady.
I love his messy 'do. It fits him very well. ;)
And you are just maaahhhvelous chickie!
I love the hair!! Too cute
Just stopin' by from I heart faces...I love your edit! I always check out your work-your edits are always great! Thanks for sharing! I'm about to work on my edit now...
I just went in this week, too, more for a color after delaying since February...the gray hairs I was plucking out at night forced my hand. :) After having very shot hair for several years, I am embracing my curls, letting it grow and hoping for ponytail length before 1) the baby arrives and 2) I decide to bag it all and hack it off! I think this new cut of yours looks great!
Love your mug shot, Susan! I just had mine chopped again and it's kinda nice and easy not having to take care of longer hair.
Your sons are cuties and sport messy hair well. lol
I think you look great! Were you disappointed in what she did? I have been going grey since I was 25, and am allergic to dyes...so no color for me...so depressing..But I have always said I would have it long and grey...But you know it is hard to keep that promise to myself..But my husband loves long hair...and I think It/I look better with it...All is vanity!
Your son's hair is darling...I am glad you let him leave it that way, and he lets you take pictures...Do you sleep with your camera! hahah
oh goodness, it is SO HARD to grow hair out! i have been trying for years.
by the way, your sons hairdo is very "in" these days :)
It takes me FOREVER to grow my hair out...I would have been so mad! Thank goodness you look super-cute in a short do. :)
I got a haircut last week too! After debating for months about whether I should grow it long enough for Locks of Love again.
Of course I haven't done a post about it yet because more important things were happening.....
Hair woes are so fun. Did she apologize? You do look pretty though. I can't remember seeing it in a pony tail but I am sure you looked pretty like that too : )
Kaishon grows his hair long in the winter so he has a permanent hat : ) How cute is that? Messy hair is cool. Middle dude is cute as can be. Or cool as can be. Either / or : )
