My Father-in-Law has been painstakingly building this beauty from scratch for the last 5+ years. She'll soon be road-worthy. For our purposes, she was more than up to the short journey between the garage and the lower lot for the requisite photo op and rides for the kiddos. It used to be that all the grandkids fit together on the running board. But over the years, the number of grandkids has grown and the kids themselves have grown quite a bit, so now they quite spill over.
Here's a picture with the grandkids together back in the earlier days of the car, before the race-car-red...

What a great car! I am loving the red! Great job!
OMG! I love that car! What a great grand-dad, to let the kids enjoy it like that. I'm afraid I'd be to worried about fingerprints to let anyone actually have fun with it. Great photos...as always!
Reminds me of Tim the Toolman Taylor and his re-builts on Home Improvement. Super-cool!
Wow, that is one understanding Papa. I wouldn't allow them to sit on the car!
Hey, Bro :-)
Papa has been having the kiddos sitting on the running board as long as he's been working on the car. Anytime he's got them all local, he's putting together the photo op...
:-)
I guess what you're really trying to say is that the next time you're in town, you DON'T want me using your wheels as a photo prop?!?
The hot rod is just a man made object. The Grandkids are a gift from God and we love looking at old pics of the kids by the hot rod and seeing how they both have changed over the years. They can sit on the running boards anytime.
That is one hobby I would love to pick up among so many others, but there's only so much time in the day! I do enjoy sharing in the hobbies of others and seeing the results of their hard work. It's very motivating! Thanks!
That is just SWEET! I bet your guys were in boy heaven!
That looks SO good. My friend at work just got a car to re do and he is SO excited about it : ). I am going to send him this link!
