Then Elijah came there to a cave, and lodged there; and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and He said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?" ...
[The LORD] said, "Go forth, and stand on the mountain before the LORD." And behold, the LORD was passing by! And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains and breaking in pieces the rocks before the LORD;
but the LORD was not in the wind.
And after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake.
And after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire;
and after the fire the sound of a gentle blowing, a low whisper, a still small voice.
And it was [so], when Elijah heard [it], that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering of the cave. And, behold, a voice came to him and said, "What are you doing here, Elijah?"

I made a note to stop here today to see what passage you'd share. I love that His voice is not harsh or powerful or destructive when He is speaking to us, His people. I struggle with a lot of condemnation every day, and the reminder that He speaks in a still, small voice helps me to remember His gentle love for me... Thank you for this today. :-)
I don't even know how to respond to that. Deep contented sigh. You have a way of finding incredible Bible passages to pair with your stunning photos of God's artistry. Thanks for sharing with us each Sunday.
