And how fun to have Mrs. AND Mr. Darcy show up in the same comments ;-). And Darcy - such a nice new profile pic. Your personal photographer is doing some nice work with that new Christmas surprise.
BoyDad- nope, just jpg. I tried RAW a couple times, and you can certainly achieve some neat effects with it; but ultimately, I like to process as little as necessary. RAW seemed to need more of EVERYTHING - more cf cards, more download time, more processing time, more computer storage ... more time in the day.
Despite the un-ideal conditions of your trip, you have managed some uber dramatic shots!! Gorgeous! I like the color and b&W in this post. If I HAD to choose one, I MIGHT choose the b&w. :)
I've been out of town and trying to catch up on things, but I wanted to say thank you VERY much for choosing my hubby's photo for your 4th place image at I Heart Faces! I was quite surprised, and pleasantly so. Thank you!!!
I also am drawn to the color photos, but the B&W are stunning. I agree with Darcy ~ you need to apply to the National Geographic magazine. They'd hire you in a heartbeat!

I love all of these... the color the best. I just want to reach out and touch it!
In your first set of two I like the color one best. In the next set of three, I like the middle one best.
I like the same way Irene does. I like the muted colors in the middle on best.
Love them both, I couldn't decide which one I liked better.
The BW is stunning to me in the top picture. It looks like you have all had a great time. The raincoat picture is quite cute!
Gorgeous, dramatic photos! I like the color.
These are totally awesome pictures. Fabulous work, they are amazing. Do you shoot in RAW?
Okay, I have read every. single. post you've written for at least a year...
but that last photo...
oh my goodness gracious.
You could shoot for National Geographic.
Thanks, All.

I am partial to the color...but then, those are the colors I grew up around, since I lived less than an hour from Zion national park.
ps I do have to say, that first BW does look very Ansel Adams-ish. Good job!
