"So, how long do you think it would take for a snowball to hit the bottom?"
A simple experiment is worth a thousand expert opinions. (spoken like a true engineer)
Perfect trajectory!! (more engineer words)
Hmmm, make that at least four experiments. (btw, that was COLD snow!!)
Remember this post? I guess the message is: if the hole is big/deep enough, Keller Dudes want to throw something in it.

It could have been worse...they could have wanted to pee off of it as I am sure by boys would want to do. (lol)
Good lord...could your photos be any more amazing?! (I'm just ignoring the first one because Big Dude is about to give me a heights-induced heart attack.)
I second that theArthurClan! That just makes my stomach turn.. Yikes.. Pictures are amazing!
"Boys will be boys"... I'm sure you've seen that proven time & time again in your household :)
As for your photos-- truly magnificent, Susan... per usual!
Wow! And it looks like the fog and clouds cleared enough for you to see something of the Grand Canyon. So how long did it take? (for the snowball to hit the bottom LOL.)
I love it! How funny.... Your photographs are always mouth dropping. I wish I could take pictures like you!
That's awesome.
These pictures give a peak at the grandure of the Grand Canyon!
LOVE these pix! And yes, there's something guys and the need to throw stuff. Never fails.
So you DID get to see a lot more than fog - and you had me thinking from the first post on the GC that you drove all that way and only saw fog. You had me all sad for your wasted effort... ;-) I'm glad it cleared up for you later!
Such a boy thing to do! LOVE it. Totally fun.
