SpongeBob rules the roost in our home. Even the Big Dude watches and enjoys. It must be a guy-thing. Because while I can appreciate the witty one-liners, I can't abide the obnoxious voices, noises, and ugly drawings.
Are shooting for Pottery Barn or J Crew or Restoration Hardware? Can you click on my profile and send me an email, I have a question for you offline. Thanks!
Ahhhh.... A kindered soul! SPONGEBOB...... is loved by my older two,a nd I am sure my youngest third when he has a long enough attention span to notice it. Although I have noticed lately that he will sit down with the older kids and watch for a minute or two.... they grow-up so fast, and like Strawberry shortcake is a distant memory for me, I am sure that so will spongebob here too soon! Hugs for you Susan! Aminta
Can you believe Da'Gorgeouses are drawn to images of SpongeBob and his counterparts, and we don't even have cable TV???!!! LOL!! I've seen him but I'm with you, the voices annoy me. We are however, totally into the Disney Princesses over here, and every once in awhile they will view a preview of one we haven't seen yet and say..."Mamá we gotta watch THAT one!" Do you think Disney posts subliminal messages that 2 year olds can pick up? Hehe!
Oh yeah, and as for the Leap Frog, they ROCK!! Da'Gorgeouses have the refrigerator magnets AND the Letter Factory DVD and can now say the sounds of all the letters in the alphabet! Woohoo for Leap Frog!!
I am the same about SpongeBob. My husband rented a whole season from Netflix a couple of years ago and it had the unexpected side effect of making him bored with them for life.

My kids have been watching this since my youngest son was about 2. He used to call it Sponge Bob Sweat Pants.

I can't stand Sponge Bob. My boys love him. I can't stand his whiny voice, his obnoxious laughter and his stupid starfish friend. I just don't get it!
