Here's where I headed yesterday after church to scope out a possible place to take our annual family portrait this year. This is the canyon right below our neighborhood. Last time I posted pictures of the canyon it looked
much much different. I definitely prefer the Springtime look, but all this glowy golden light is pretty, too.
Then later in the afternoon we all headed to the beach.
I'll post more Laguna high-jinx tomorrow.
added later: I don't know what the glitch is in the photo table above, but I can't make it go away, so it stays.

Your photography is amazing! I connected to your blog through Debbie's blog. I'm bookmarking it as a favorite because I'm sure I'll learn a lot from you. I've created a blog that's short on words as well (scroll down past the video archives to view the photos): http://dreamatteo.blogspot.com
That looks like a fun day!
There's a glitch in the picture? I think there are glitches in all of my pictures :-)
Love the beach-jumping ones. Can you do a remote of all of you jumping at the same time??
Piggy-
Welcome and thanks! I look forward to checking out your blog later today.
Brenda - if you like, I'll take a few freeway photos, then you won't be so homesick ;-)...
Kat - the glitch is in the table (there's a gap - at least on my computer). And I WISH I could do a remote picture. But that little gadget is another $85 add-on. This photography stuff is EXPENSIVE, I tell ya.
I love the shadow :o) My daughter's new obsession .. and the jumping .. and, well all of them. :o)
The shadow is my favorite one. I also love the first fence picture, but they're all fantastic!
Inspiring as always.
I actually adore the canyon this way.... I know Im weird!
You already know I'm a fan of canyons in the fall! I'm sure they'll turn out great.
Ooooooh....I found you on BATW. Your pictures are INCREDIBLE!
You guys look like you were having such fun! Amazing spot to photograph.
My BFF from college lives in Mission Viejo and my husband's brother and family live in Long Beach. So the next time we visit, I am booking you for a family photo. And I'm not joking.
Oh Debbie!!! How cool would that be?!? How fun to get to meet you in person :-) And, of course, I would love to photograph you and your darling family!
Mission Viejo is pretty much my neck of the woods...
Hi Susan, Thanks for circling back to my blog. Anyhow, you really have an eye for photography. You give the "trivial" another way of being seen and wow, do they look interesting! Just look at that angle where you shot the fence!
