Another Littlest Dude quotable...

M'Boy1

Littlest Dude: But WHY do I ALWAYS have to change my clothes ALL the time? [editorial insert: this, said by the boy who gets to wear his clothes to bed and wear the same thing the next day if it's not dirty!!! Don't judge me. It's just the way we roll around here.]

Me: Because I might want to take some pictures of you today, and I want you to look cute.

Littlest Dude: But I don't want to look cute. I just want to look like myself.

And earlier this week, as we were discussing beginning our first week of school ...

Littlest Dude: But I don't want to be "TEACHED-ded"!!!.

Such a doll!

I didn't know we were both sending a third grader to school. Has this been in the plans for a while?
I can't wait to hear how he likes it.

Oh, he is a cutie. Whether he likes it or not. I need to figure out photoshop so that I can make my colors look like yours. I want to do the black and white, with the pop of color. I just found out our community schools is offering a photoshop class for only $35. I have a sinking feeling that it's elements rather than the big guns...

Heh. No judgment here. We do the same thing with the clothes sometimes. I mean, there are A LOT of them, and I hate laundry. :)

I'm sorry to inform the kid that looking like himself is still going to be cute. :)

Donna-
we've known for a few months. He's in a class with 8 sweet, friendly kids. I hope he likes it well and learns LOTS.

Kat - no photoshop on these. just a press of a button in Lightroom. simple stuff. $35 is a bargain, even if it's just Elements. And anything you learn Elements-wise is totally applicable to the Real Deal PS.

Kathy- how 'bout we just say we're doin' our part to save the Environment???

wow! i'm not the only one that let my kids sleep in clothes!? don't tell anyone i did because admitting it is not really that comfortable with me. my kids favorite pj's were their jeans. OOOOOOO. i wouldn't EVER pick jeans to sleep in.
i always though if i had more kids i would make them sleep in pjs, do that new pjs on christmas eve thing and have normal pj-ed kids for a change. but...the more kids never came along. in late teens they switched to sleeping clothes. more expensive clothes and more showers needed, i think was the inspiration.

Aunt Tea-
hehe. Your secret's safe with me. Jeans?!? I'm with you - NOT my first choice for comfy sleeping apparel.

Littlest Dude is ADORABLE! And, Susan, that's how we roll here too. Remy is allowed to sleep in his clothes and wear them again...although I'm constantly getting him to change his shirt at least for school. lol

BOYS!!
