The OC Fair
So we went to The Fair this week and I dragged my big, heavy camera along with us. The Big Dude sarcastically remarked, with a mischievous gleam in his eye, that it was too bad that we didn't bring two cameras - a his and hers - because he bet that a man's (his) view of the fair looked significantly different than a woman's (my) view. He thought that difference was good blog fodder. Anyway ... the next few days will include images of MY view of the fair. I did snap a couple of gratuitous images on his behalf, and I'm still pondering whether I'm gutsy enough to post them. Time will tell ... (but if I do, you'll definitely know they're HIS perspective!).

Great photos. I'm interested in seeing his view :)
I'm hoping to go this coming Wednesday which is Summer Food Drive day - free admission with 5 cans of food. I like the OC Fair. When my daughter was little she performed with a group there called The Good News Kids. Some times they were on a stage that was in the full blazing sun. Not fun.
Great fair photos! I think it's a wonderful idea to do a his and hers different view sort of post. Very fun idea!
I love the his and hers idea! Is the sky really that blue?? I haven't been to OC in about five years...I forgot that skies can get that blue.
Sometimes I don't comment only because I feel so redundant saying 'incredible photos!' Love your perspective. Can't wait to see his. :)
so fun, did you guys have so much fun?
Nick and I actually play this game from time to time and I plan on framing them in my stairwell at some point, we pick the exact same object, we each get one frame, and its incredible how strikingly different our images are. Its actually very very cool.
How fun. We haven't been to the fair in years. And I love that night time shot...
Thanks, All :-)
Debbie - nah. The skies weren't THAT blue. All these fair pics are processed quite a bit...
Leslie - I love that idea!! And it just seems so much more, ahem, wholesome than the fair photos via his/her perspective....
I love that night shot, they all made me feel like I was there.
