I don't know how to create that little 'heart' with my computer keys...**giggle**.

I was reading up on the silhouettes contest and I read the tutorial you wrote which sounds fairly simple, except for the minor big set back that it'll be ME working on the image. ;-)

I don't understand what you mean when you say aperture/higher setting. DO you mean for instance the new Nikon D90 my husband got me for Mother's Day (I have 2 brand new lens with it), one is 18-105mm and the other is 55-200 mm, however I also have an old Nikon lens (about 4 years old) that Wolf Camera told me would still attach to the D90 but the lens isn't as updated. Even still it is a 70-300 mm. So from what I read on your tutorial I should usse the largest number lens, is this right? At least for manual focus, well even automatic focus, correct? Since I'm uncertain of my older 70-300 lens I might test a few pics with it today but will also switch over to my 55-200mm.

I'm sorry I'm just VERY new to really 'learning' about how to maximize my passion for photography. I don't care about contests or anything; I just want to learn. However I still want to enter the contests so I can see if what I did was correct and compare it to other images.

Thanks for answering this aperature thingy....so confused with all the lingo. But I'm so loving it as well. I also have another question but will just post that on Iheartfaces discussion forum.

Thanks so much for your time in reading this. I too love all the images I viewed from you! They are very incredible. I love them. My biggest struggle now is that when I take a photo I NEVER want to throw it away, but instead I just keep it, like uh, forever....:D

Yours,

~Sarah CeciliaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17521680021323003843noreply@blogger.com
