Which is why we started snickering when Middle Dude brought his sunglasses to our fierce Uno match. He didn’t understand our mirth until Big Dude demonstrated …
I bet you can guess who the victor was for this particular hand …
Tears soon followed after the next round. Cause that’s how game playing rolls ‘round here. :-}

ReplyDeleteToo funny!
ReplyDeleteokay, i was a little distracted by the matting of the photos in the back. i have been pondering such things lately.
ReplyDeleteSoooooo fun!!! Totally reminds me of my family :-)
ReplyDeleteI remember playing Uno (as a supposedly intelligent adult, mind you) in front of the big windows in the kitchen...at night. It took me a long time to figure out why everyone liked me sitting over there.
ReplyDeleteI really should just find your email...anyway..."Lauging Without an Accent" is Dumas' second book. Not sure if it is technically a "sequel" but it was about her life and thoughts and equally as funny.
ReplyDeleteI am an avid reader. LOVE books. I just won't buy them so I have to wait for them at the library or borrow from a friend. Had to wait on pins and needles for Mockingjay to come my way. :)
Ah, the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat! But hey, every household should be that filled with passion! ;-) LOVE the shades!!
