Ok. It's the
only workshop I've ever attended. But it really was quite excellent. And I'm soooo glad I went. My only regret ... I somehow failed to get a photo of my friend
Shelley and me together (nevermind the headshots we planned to take of each other. sigh.) There was just not a spare moment anywhere to be found during the daylight hours of this workshop. Which is a good thing. Not a wasted moment!

The picture. I would never think to come from that angle. Or do that off centered. Or to realize that they really don't need to look at you at all to get a good picture. Do they teach "vision" as well at the secret workshop??
ReplyDeleteIncredible pictures - as always.
ReplyDeleteReally, you could be teaching these workshops.
And I just LOVE those shoes on that little girl.
Your photos are amazing!!! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and taking time to offer constructive feedback! I really appreciate it and will try those edits you suggested! Thanks again!!
ReplyDeleteBethany is quite pleased to note that she has that same black skirt with the big colorful flowers. ;-) Maybe I can get some cute pictures out of her pleasure. Wish I had the fancy shoes to go with it.
ReplyDeleteStunning shots!
I agree. You could teach this stuff! Your photos are amazing...as always!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. The first one is my favorite! :) So sweet!

ReplyDeleteOh no Susan! Now I have drooled all over my computer. :D
ReplyDeleteThese photos are all superb. The lighting on the baby with the white background is perfectly angelic. I like the cool shoes the girls are wearing too.
Happy Mother's Day!
I attended the workshop in Austin exactly a year ago and wow, what an experience! I am so glad you got so much from it...along with some great portfolio additions. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great pics. I want to go to a workshop, instead I just get to work, lol. And someone else shops, lol. I'm a dork today.
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday and Happy early Mother's Day tomorrow.
Oh BTW, we rocked it yesterday as a team on IHF. It was fun.
Take care,
B Dad
I apparently need to get my daughter some really cool, funky skirts and shoes so that I can try out some shots like these.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I need to have another baby.
My husband is not going to be very happy with you when I tell him that your photos were my inspiration! :)
Awesome, awesome, AWESOME.
Have a wonderful Happy Mother's Day Susan!
I want to go to one so bad!
ReplyDeleteDittos on all the comments! What great additions to your portfolio. I'm so jealous. Your pictures are incredible. They make me want to have a few more kids just for photo ops. My husband won't be very happy about that.....
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have spent much time away from my computer this past week if I were you. :)
