I married my husband, mostly, because he made me laugh.

This morning, Big Dude noticed I didn't have a post. So he made one up for me. Here's what he said...

Please pray for us in Southern California. It's raining. And the wind is blowing. And I have to wear a jacket to work.

  3. And by the way, Big Dude, since you'll be stuck inside today and looking for something to do, you should come visit my post with the videos of the kinds of stuff that happen outside when it's -30ยบ. Fascinating!

  4. Tell him I don't think that is very funny. ;-P

I'm glad he was so concerned about your lack of a post today, though. We need someone to keep you going...

  5. Trying very hard to be sympathetic. It never got above 24 degrees here yesterday. Wanna trade? :)

  7. Are you implying that my name is 'mostly'? or that we are only 'mostly married'? ;-)

  12. I say the same thing about DrillSgt. all the time, and I totally get the mostly part. I will admit though, DrillSgt. would also question my use of the word mostly too--LOL!!

Tell Big Dude that the hammering is taking place here in CenCal too. Our skin is a little tougher here though, since we have to endure the 110+ heat in the summer and the near freezing temps @ night during the winter (sure does make for some tasty oranges, grapes and strawberries though)!

    Hugs & Blessings!

  13. That's awesome! I know... it's crazy. We spent ALL DAY locked in our house due to the rain. Because I'm afraid I might melt if I step outside. :) (though I did make Marshall run out and get me a Starbucks Mocha so I could drink it while warm and snuggly under a blanket on the couch watching movies.

  14. Dh is heading to Southern California today for the week. The weather doesn't look a whole lot better than the thaw we're getting here!
